Sonis™ Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 24 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to enquiries, bookings and the delivery of Sonis™ programmes and associated services.
Sonis™ is operated through Divine Harmony Group. By confirming a Sonis™ programme booking, the commissioning organisation agrees to the applicable terms set out below together with any specific arrangements agreed for that booking.
1. About Sonis™
Sonis™ provides structured sensory wellbeing programmes using sound, music, focused listening, mindfulness, guided activities and immersive sensory experiences.
Current programmes include:
From Sound to Stillness™
Outside the Noise™
Open Chord™
Programmes may be adapted according to the age and needs of the group, the setting, accessibility requirements and the requirements of the commissioning organisation.
2. Nature of the Programmes
Sonis™ programmes are provided as sensory and wellbeing experiences.
Programme descriptions explain the nature and aims of each programme. Individual experiences and responses will vary and no particular wellbeing, educational, behavioural or other outcome is guaranteed.
Sonis™ does not replace medical, psychological, educational or other professional services where these are required.
3. Enquiries
Submitting an enquiry does not create a booking or contractual commitment.
Following an enquiry, Divine Harmony Group may contact the organisation to discuss its requirements, proposed group, programme suitability, venue, availability and delivery arrangements.
A booking will only be considered confirmed once the relevant arrangements, fees and booking details have been agreed.
4. Programme Bookings
Before delivery, relevant information will be agreed with the commissioning organisation. This may include:
Programme selected
Date and time
Location
Expected number and age range of participants
Session duration
Agreed fee
Venue and setup requirements
Accessibility or other relevant considerations
Any additional arrangements relating to delivery
Specific arrangements agreed in writing for an individual booking or series of sessions will form part of the agreement between Divine Harmony Group and the commissioning organisation.
5. Fees & Payment
All applicable fees will be agreed before a booking is confirmed.
Payment arrangements, including any deposit, payment deadline or invoicing arrangements, will be stated in the relevant booking confirmation, quotation or invoice.
Unless otherwise agreed, the commissioning organisation is responsible for ensuring payment is made within the stated payment period.
6. Cancellation & Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. Organisations should provide as much notice as reasonably possible where a Sonis™ booking needs to be cancelled or rescheduled.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
7 days or more before the session
No cancellation charge will apply. Any payment already made for the affected session may be refunded or transferred to another available date.
Between 48 hours and 7 days before the session
50% of the agreed session fee will remain payable. Where reasonably possible, we may instead agree to transfer the booking to another available date.
Less than 48 hours before the session
The full agreed session fee will remain payable.
Cancellation on arrival or after arrival
Where the facilitator has travelled to the agreed venue but the session cannot proceed because the venue is unavailable, participants are unavailable or the organisation is otherwise unable to accommodate the agreed session, the full fee will remain payable.
Exceptional Circumstances
We recognise that serious and genuinely unforeseen circumstances can occur. Exceptional situations may therefore be considered individually.
Cancellation by Sonis™
If Divine Harmony Group needs to cancel a session due to illness, emergency, unsafe travel conditions or another circumstance preventing reasonable delivery, the organisation will be offered an alternative available date.
Where an alternative cannot reasonably be arranged, any payment already made for the affected session will be refunded.
7. Venue & Environment
Unless otherwise agreed, Sonis™ programmes are delivered at a venue provided by the commissioning organisation.
The organisation is responsible for providing a space reasonably suitable, accessible and safe for the agreed programme.
Relevant considerations may include:
Available space
Seating or floor arrangements
Accessibility
Setup and dismantling time
Background noise
Access to the venue
Any known circumstances that could materially affect delivery
Divine Harmony Group may adapt or discontinue an activity where the environment prevents it from being delivered appropriately or safely.
8. Participant Supervision & Safeguarding
Divine Harmony Group is responsible for the appropriate delivery of the agreed Sonis™ programme and for the conduct of its facilitator.
The commissioning organisation retains responsibility for the supervision, safeguarding and general welfare of its participants throughout the session.
Where children, young people or adults requiring support are participating, the commissioning organisation must ensure that appropriate teachers, classroom assistants, support workers, carers or other authorised professionals remain present and responsible for participants throughout delivery.
The Sonis™ facilitator does not assume the role or responsibilities of the organisation's teachers, carers, safeguarding personnel, support workers or other professionals.
Participants who would ordinarily remain under the care or supervision of the commissioning organisation remain under that care and supervision throughout the Sonis™ session.
Where competent adults attend independently within an adult or community setting, supervision arrangements will naturally differ according to that setting.
9. Professional Conduct
Sonis™ programmes will be delivered with professionalism, integrity, dignity and respect.
The facilitator is responsible for their own conduct, the appropriate delivery of the programme and the proper management of instruments and equipment provided for the session.
Participants will be treated respectfully and activities will be delivered in a manner appropriate to the agreed group and setting.
10. Participation
Participants should be free to engage with a Sonis™ programme at a level appropriate to them.
No participant should be compelled by the facilitator to take part in an activity where they are uncomfortable doing so.
Activities may be adapted during delivery according to the group, available space, time or other relevant circumstances.
11. Sound & Sensory Environment
Sonis™ programmes may incorporate live or recorded sound, musical instruments, vibration, focused listening, periods of quiet, breathing exercises, imagination or visualisation and other sensory elements.
The exact instruments and activities used may vary according to the programme, group and circumstances of the session.
The commissioning organisation should make Divine Harmony Group aware in advance of any known group requirements or environmental considerations that may reasonably require the session to be adapted.
12. Instruments & Equipment
Sonis™ primarily uses acoustic musical and sound instruments.
All specialist instruments and equipment required for the agreed session will normally be supplied and managed by the facilitator.
Participants should not handle instruments or equipment unless specifically invited to do so as part of a supervised programme activity.
Where electrical or technical equipment is used, it will remain under the control of the facilitator unless otherwise specifically agreed.
13. Photography & Recording
Photography, video or audio recording is not automatically included as part of programme delivery.
Any photography or recording involving participants must be discussed and agreed in advance and must comply with the commissioning organisation's safeguarding, consent and privacy requirements.
Divine Harmony Group will not use identifiable photographs, video or audio recordings of participants for promotional purposes without the appropriate permissions or other lawful basis required.
14. Intellectual Property
The Sonis™ name and branding, programme identities, programme structures, written materials, original exercises, documentation, graphics and other original Sonis™ materials remain the intellectual property of their respective rights holder(s).
This includes materials associated with:
From Sound to Stillness™
Outside the Noise™
Open Chord™
Booking, commissioning or participating in a Sonis™ programme does not transfer ownership of any Sonis™ intellectual property.
Programme materials may not be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed, adapted, taught or commercially exploited without prior permission from the relevant rights holder.
This does not prevent participants from personally using simple breathing, listening, mindfulness or wellbeing techniques introduced during a programme where those techniques are intended for personal use.
15. Website Content
Reasonable efforts are made to ensure information published on the Sonis™ website is accurate and current.
Programme content, availability, delivery arrangements and website information may change as the programmes continue to develop.
Photographs and other images used on the website may be illustrative and do not necessarily depict an actual Sonis™ programme session.
16. Personal Information
Personal information submitted through the Sonis™ website or provided in connection with programme enquiries and bookings will be handled in accordance with the Sonis™ Privacy Policy.
Organisations should not submit unnecessary personal, medical or sensitive information concerning individual participants through the general enquiry form.
17. Responsibilities of the Parties
Divine Harmony Group accepts responsibility for the conduct of its facilitator, appropriate programme delivery and management of the instruments and equipment it provides.
The commissioning organisation retains responsibility for its own premises, personnel, participants, safeguarding arrangements, supervision and other professional responsibilities.
Nothing within a Sonis™ booking transfers the professional responsibilities of the commissioning organisation or its personnel to the Sonis™ facilitator.
Each party is expected to fulfil the responsibilities it has agreed to undertake in connection with the programme.
18. Circumstances Outside Our Control
Neither party can reasonably control every circumstance that may affect a booking.
Where delivery is prevented or materially affected by severe weather, transport disruption, illness, emergency, venue closure, power failure or another genuinely unforeseen circumstance, the parties should communicate as soon as reasonably possible and seek an appropriate solution.
Where practical, an affected session may be rearranged.
19. Concerns & Resolution
Should any concern or disagreement arise in relation to a Sonis™ programme, booking or service, we ask that it is brought directly to Divine Harmony Group in the first instance.
Divine Harmony Group undertakes to consider concerns openly, fairly and in good faith, and to make every reasonable effort to address and, where appropriate, rectify the matter directly with the organisation.
Our intention is that agreements are entered into and fulfilled with honesty, integrity and mutual respect, with concerns or disagreements addressed privately and constructively wherever reasonably possible.
20. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to Sonis™, its programmes or operational arrangements.
The current version will be published on the Sonis™ website together with the date on which it was last updated.
